Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 7, 2026
This privacy policy explains how TrainBoard ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use our mobile application (the "App").
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.
The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.
Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the App. AdMob is an advertising service provided by Google Inc. ("Google").
Google AdMob uses tracking technologies such as cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to collect information about your device and your interactions with the App and other apps and websites to provide personalized advertisements.
This data collection is managed entirely by Google according to their own Privacy Policy. You can learn more about how Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps by visiting Google's Privacy & Terms.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
Location Data
If you grant the App permission to access your device's location, we use this strictly locally to determine the nearest train stations to you. This location data is not stored on our servers, is not shared with third parties, and is only used momentarily within the app to fetch relevant National Rail data.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
